What attacks do your DDoS protection services stop?
Volumetric floods (UDP/ICMP), amplification and reflection (NTP, DNS, CLDAP, memcached), carpet-bomb, fragmentation and TCP state-exhaustion (SYN). Application-layer (L7) traffic is dropped or rate-limited rather than fully stopped — our DDoS mitigation service is L3/L4 volumetric protection, not a web application firewall.
Do you reroute our traffic?
No. WanGuard runs on your edge, so traffic never leaves your network. That is the core difference between on-premise DDoS protection services and cloud scrubbing.
Managed service or self-run — which do we choose?
