WanGuard 8.2 brings new useful changes mostly for multi user environment with finer options.
Wanguard 8.2 brings new features and improvements, including:
- A brand new permissions system that permits fine-grained access control over reports and configuration objects (e.g. guests can manage thresholds and responses for specific subnets)
- Improved compatibility with some Netflow v9 and IPFIX flow exporters.
- Speed optimizations for flow listings and flow tops.
- A few new Flow Filtering Expressions and Top Types (e.g. country codes, nbar IDs, payload regex).
- NBAR support for flow listings and tops.
- A new toggle button in Configuration » Servers that disables the monitoring of offline servers
- Add 95th percentile values to InfluxDB and the ability to obtain the value via the REST API
- Users can change the description of manually-defined firewall rules
- A new Flow Collector option that enables Flow Sensor to analyze only the flows that match a specified criteria
- A new Deduplication option that invokes a custom script to validate the creation of each anomaly
- Support for PF_RING 8.2
- Support for DPDK 22.11
- Updated Netmap to git master from November 2022
